David Dunsmore has been a huge fan of radio since the age of five - since the days of Children’s Favourites.In the 1970’s his love of classical music expanded to Rock & Pop with the discovery of David Bowi.,

David has seen over 100 bands live & attended some memorable festivals in the 1970’s & 1980’s. He now has a huge CD collection of Rock & Classical CDs, he writes reviews for an online classical site. After a career in Banking & Care Recruitment, David & his Yorkshire born Wife, Janie (since 1984) moved up to Preston in 2013. They have 3 children and one married daughter.

He was introduced to Radio Leyland by the late Councillor Ken Jones.

David has presented Monday’s Magic Moments for over a year and enjoys the variety immensely. He’s truly found his vocation at 67.

Magic Moments includes music from 1920–1979, Care Home requests & A Top Ten from 1953-1972.
